Update

I added some photos today as well. The other post that was added is from the other day. I found an internet connection where we are staying, so I may try to get on later this evening.

It looks like it is going to be REALLY hard to get on the internet for the next two months (after wed when we move to our training villages), so it may be better if you write to me via regular mail instead.

Katie, Kenny and I can't figure out how to see the pictures. When we click on Katie's pictures, we get an error message. Sounds like quite an adventure. All the loyal PCUSA people asked about you today and are praying for you.

Hi Katie:
Grams and I really enjoyed reading about your trip to The Gambia. You mentioned seeing a statue of a boy peeing - Grams and I saw that statue in 1999 when we spent one day in Brussels, it's called Manneken-Pis.
Your flight to Brussels sounded like most of our flights to Europe except we never were able to fly in Economy Plus.
Sounds like your flight to Africa was a real adventure. Now, you're a seasoned traveler.
Please to read that Peace Corp people are treated very well in The Gambia.
Love, Gram and Gramps

Katie Marie Clifford ... you are my hero!!! I still can't believe that you're in Africa! It sounds like you're having an adventure already just trying to get there. Honestly, I'm a little jealous of all the awesome stories you're gonna have ;)! Anyways, just wanted to say that we're all really proud of you. Be safe and keep in touch when you get the chance. Luv ya and miss ya!

P.S. I wanna see the pics but unfortunately they're not working for me either. I'll keep trying though.
